Cosmetic products are the result of a skillful combination of ingredients with various physical, chemical, and functional properties formulated to achieve solutions with the desired activity and quality. This study presents a new approach in the makeup world, focusing on W/O emulsion lipsticks enriched with the innovative ingredient IDRAWAX® REVO launched by BRASCA at in-cosmetics Global 2024.
The goal is to offer new perspectives to formulators for the development of delivery systems for hydrophilic active substances, while still embracing the increasingly demanded concept of “Waterless Makeup,” proposing new textures compared to traditional anhydrous lipsticks. During this research, CytoFruit® Waters stand out as shining examples of sustainable and innovative cosmetic ingredients, developed by ROELMI HPC srl under the claim “Water Saving.” The use of such ingredients paves the way for the creation of stable and innovative cosmetic products that are “waterless” or “waterfree” and high-performing, in line with the principles of clean beauty.
