Project Description

SelectSIEVE® Apple

From Earth, to protect your Heart

INGREDIENT BENEFITS

SelectSIEVE®Apple is a natural solution for blood glycaemia control. It improves cardiometabolic and hepatobiliary health reducing glycaemia, carbohydrate uptake, serum uric acids and several hepatic enzymes

Dosage: 300mg a day

Delivery forms: capsules, tablets, sachets, sticks, drinks, syrups, shakes, functional food

What is it?

SelectSIEVE®Apple is a phytochemical complex composed of balanced and highly standardized polyphenols form Apple fruit. The combined activities of its natural active compounds, in particular Chlorogenic acid and Phloridzin, are fundamental to accomplish several biochemical activities leading to glycaemia modulation, the balancing of cardiovascular parameters and liver health promotion.

What does it do?

SelectSIEVE®Apple works on the modulation glucose uptake into the body. It also positively influences endothelial reactivity favouring a better blood flow and it contributes to prevent cardiovascular diseases by reducing serum uric acid concentration in the blood. SelectSIEVE®Apple also reduces specific hepatic transferase, thus promoting liver health.

Mechanism of action

SelectSIEVE®Apple reduces carbohydrate intake through competitive inhibition of intestinal glucose absorption due to the Phloridzin bond to the SGLT1/GLUT transporters. It regulates hepatic glycaemia through the modulation of the G6P-translocase activity.

SelectSIEVE®Apple inhibits the xanthine oxidase, reducing serum uric acid. Its polyphenols overall perform a vasculoprotector and veinotonic action increasing the endothelial reactivity and reducing aspartate aminotransferase and gamma-glutamyl transferase
