The cosmetics market is witnessing a real revolution regarding skin’s “micro” world. The skin microbiota, already in the cosmetic spotlight, seems to be the key for achieving long-term well-being and preventing the so-called “skin aging”. However, with the greater awareness of the issue’s importance, a generalized confusion is also growing, which opens up to an increasingly articulated scenario from a regulatory and application point of view, even from a communicative perspective (usable definitions and claims that can be boasted).
Thanks to decades of experience in the biotechnology field, ROELMI HPC has designed specific ingredients to improve the skin ecosystem through topical application. First, by developing components that maintain the balance of the subject microbiota to external stress, then using probiotic derivatives that, thanks to their molecular biomimetism, is recognized by skin cells positively modulating the natural defenses and strengthening the skin barrier.
