ROELMI HPC is proud to announce the successful outcome of the participation to the Innovation Call for Circular Economy in Lombardy – Phase 3.

The project aims to develop new sustainable and high added value ingredients for the cosmetics and nutraceutical markets.
To do this, ROELMI HPC starts from the eco-design of ingredients that can be derived from by-products of the food supply chain, which are no longer edible. In particular, traditionally Lombard raw materials such as tomatoes, wine and rice will be re-evaluated and transformed with low environmental impact technologies. The main innovation will be linked to the use of probiotic strains owned by ROELMI HPC for the fermentation of biomass, with the aim of launching new products compared to those of the current market. The sustainability of the project and of the circular economy models implemented will be assessed through the LCA methodology.
